Pilot terms

30 days to prove it on your own store.

A paid pilot on one Shopify store. Half of dead-end visits are held back at random, so the readout shows what Stillsold really added.

What’s included

  1. The service

Stillsold on one Shopify storefront, installed from a private link. It spots sold-out products, sizes and colours, 404s and empty collections from every channel, and shows visitors in-stock alternatives, a closest-match redirect or a back-in-stock sign-up.

  2. Also included

Redirect suggestions (you approve each one), a weekly email report, the day-30 readout, and a weekly 30-minute check-in with the founder.

  3. Not included

Theme code changes beyond the app embed, headless storefronts, ad-account connections and custom integrations.

  4. Length

30 days from go-live, meaning the day rescues are switched on for shoppers (rescue mode, half held back). Any measure-only days before that are free and don’t count towards the 30. Extended free to day 60 if the result isn’t clear yet (see How we judge it).

  5. The hold-back

During the pilot, 50% of dead-end visitors are chosen at random and see your store unchanged. Please don’t change the split during the pilot: that restarts the readout. If you continue, the default drops to 10% (you can set 0–50%).

Fee and credit

  1. Fee

UK: £249. Catchlead Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. US and elsewhere: $299 (USD). Invoiced when you sign, payable before go-live.

  2. Refunds

The fee is non-refundable once the pilot goes live. If you cancel before go-live, or we can’t go live within 30 days of the agreed date for reasons on our side, we refund it in full.

  3. Credit

If you move to a monthly plan within 30 days of the readout, the whole pilot fee is credited against your first month, however that plan is billed (converted at that day’s rate if the plan is in another currency).

How we judge it

  1. The readout

Dead-end share of sessions by channel, the rescue rate, revenue per dead-end visitor for Stillsold vs held back, and the extra revenue with its 95% confidence range.

  2. Success

The extra revenue Stillsold made, with its 95% range above zero, is at least 3× the monthly fee of the plan you would move to. Fees and revenue are compared in one currency at the readout date. Clear but below 3×? You decide whether to continue; nothing more is owed.

  3. Not clear by day 30?

If the range still includes zero, or there were too few visitors, we extend the pilot to day 60 at no charge and read out again. Still not clear at day 60? You decide, and nothing more is owed.

Example: a store with up to 5,000 orders a month would move to the $299 plan, so success means at least $897 of proven extra revenue.

After the pilot

  1. Monthly plans

Priced by orders a month, agreed at kickoff: $299 a month up to 5,000 orders, $599 up to 15,000, $999 up to 40,000, and a custom price above that or for several stores. Billed monthly in advance, through Shopify once the public app is live, or by our invoice until then.

  2. Cancel any time

The plan ends at the end of the month you’ve paid for. There are no refunds for part of a month.

  3. Stopping the pilot early

You can stop at any time by switching off the embed or uninstalling. The fee isn’t refunded after go-live. We can stop the pilot if the store breaks Shopify’s terms. Shopify tells us 48 hours after an uninstall, and we then delete your store’s data.

Data and duties

  1. Your data

You are the controller of your store’s data; we process it for you under a data processing agreement. We read products, inventory and orders, but never shoppers’ names, emails or addresses from orders. There is no ad-account access. Details on the security page.

  2. What you do

Install the app, switch on the embed and name one owner. Tell us before theme changes, big sales or migrations, and list Stillsold in your cookie and privacy notices (we give you the text).

  3. What we do

Set-up help, a test on a copy of your theme first, the weekly check-in, and a reply to issues within one working day. If anything misbehaves, we switch rescues off at once from our side and help you turn the embed off.
